I cannot recommend The Trayfords highly enough. Prior to contacting Daisy, I had spent seven months searching for sale ads and hadn’t seen anything I wanted to view. I told Daisy I had quite specific requirements, however she found me a horse within about 36 hours. Daisy and Richard then viewed him for me, and I received many videos of the viewing with absolutely no pressure into making a decision. He then stayed with Daisy and Richard for almost three months for some schooling and all round ridden experience, including a couple of ridden outings for him. I received video updates of his progress. He arrived with me completely chilled, polite and just as Daisy had described him to me. Jo Freeman

Daisy and Richard were recommend on a few horse groups I'm on. I was looking for a agent to view some horses for me in Ireland. I contacted them and Daisy was quick to reply and help. Daisy booked the viewing on the first pony I found but unfortunately on the morning she was due to drive to Northern Ireland to view the pony it was sold the night before. I managed to find another couple of ponies that lovely guy had going to the Connemara pony sales that weekend. I had 4 days before the sales. Daisy booked the viewing for me that day for two day time. Daisy and Richard both went to view the ponies and I got honest feed back and was told what would suit my daughter out of the 3 of them. She also rode the freshly backed pony for me. It was the best decision I made to use the Trayfords. Two days after they viewed for me I bid and won the pony. Another 3 days later and he is settle in the UK. The turn around from Daisy first speaking to the seller to the pony being in his forever home with us was 1 week. I used Daisy to help me with a viewing in Ireland, I’m a complete amateur and haven’t bought a horse in 20 years, having Daisy with me was worth every penny!! She was available to talk on the phone multiple times before our trip, she understood what I was looking for and was there solely as an impartial expert to support me. She picked me up from the airport, asked all the difficult questions at our viewing that I wasn’t sure to ask, filmed and instructed me on my viewing giving me confidence in my trial & riding abilities. Afterwards we had a coffee and chatted through my thoughts, I’ve struggled making a decision on a horse and having Daisy there after to talk through was brilliant. Having her level of expertise solely for the purpose of helping you make the right decision for you is needed unless you are an expert yourself. The whole experience was made for me because of Daisy and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She’s honest, straight and reliable – exactly what you needed as an amateur in the horse buying world!!

Daisy helped me buy my first horse after I had tried so many without success. A friend recommended Daisy’s service, and although I was unsure at first, I’m so glad I gave it a chance. Due to family commitments, I couldn’t travel from Kent to Northern Ireland, but Daisy made the entire process seamless. She provided me with detailed feedback about Pearl, checked her temperament and soundness, and even rode her for me. I live in Shetland and found a lovely horse advertised in Wicklow that I felt would be suitable for my daughter. Asked Daisy if she might be able to try him for me, as I wasn’t keen on buying unseen.
Best money spent. The horse was absolutely lovely, but just not quite a fit for us. Got a really comprehensive description and videos. Cannot recommend more because it was brilliant to help with a costly and important decision.

Daisy and Richard come very highly recommended! They sourced a horse, viewed him and then took him for nearly 4 weeks schooling, providing lots of videos and updates along the way. Daisy arranged shoes, his first set of vaccinations and teeth. He arrived yesterday totally calm after a long journey to the UK and so far is living up to the kind and chilled nature Daisy and Richard said he has. We love him already.
